RMRC QSL-calendar

Rhein-Main-Radio-Club, Frankfurt, Germany proudly present the 2nd edition of the unique QSL-Calendar 2007.
The new calendar will be available to the public from November 2006.

The full colour art print calendar offers real treasures from our historical QSL archives, covering QSL cards from the 1930’s to present. The calender is in English and costs 15 Euro including shipment world wide.
We will give *DXers, DX Clubs, DX-Broadcasters and DX Organisations 20 percent*, ordering 20 copies or more.

The calendar is a beautifull marketing instrument, it is rare, unique and a special gift to business partners dealing with radio business.

Eike Bierwirth has updated his frequency list on 10th of October, 2006. Access it via http://www.eibi.de.vu/. It is recommended for everyone who wants to know what is broadcast on a certain frequency. There is also a FM-list of stations in Germany and Russia on the site, as well as some NDB-info.

Digitaler DRM-Kurzwellenempfänger im Test

Markus Weidner testete den ersten digitalen DRM-Kurzwellenempfänger auf http://www.teltarif.de. Es ist der Morphy-Richards-Empfänger, der demnächst für 199 Euro erhältlich sein soll. Fazit abwarten, der Empfänger hat doch einige Macken.

Wellenforum

Ein interessantes und gut besuchtes DX-Forum ist das Wellenforum. Hier gibt es Logs von allen Bändern, Antworten auf Empfängerfragen, Aktionen von Radiostationen und vieles mehr. Hervorzuheben ist der freundliche Umgangston und das Forum hat sich mittlerweile fest etabliert. Vom Moderatorenteam wird auch die DX-Sendung von Radio Ukraine International produziert.

CRI Beijing

CRI Beijing is on 13610 Khz at 1445 Utc in English with SINPO 43433. Some report about bycicles in China. Low co-channel interference from BBC Cyprus. Transmission is beamed to Asia but arrives with S=9+10dB.

WYFR Relay Kazakhstan

WYFR Relay Kazakhstan is on 12150 Khz at 1440 Utc in English with SINPO 24433. Some bible reading by man.

KSDA Guam

KSDA Guam is on 12105 Khz at 1435 Utc in Chinese with SINPO 24433. Religious music into talk by man.

Media Network Weblog

The Media Network Weblog can be reached via http://blogs.rnw.nl/medianetwork/. It has lots of up-to-date news on the media scene. A good proceeding of the old Media Network programme formerly aired via Radio Netherlands.

Radio Warna is on 7235 Khz at 2310 Utc in Malay with SINPO 23322. Some news reports by man and woman into local pop-music. Reception is improved later mostly O=3. Website of the station is http://www.warna.sg/.

Radio Marti

Radio Marti is on 7365 Khz at 2305 Utc in Spanish with SINPO 24322. Seems to be some live sport. Parallel frequency 6030 Khz arrives with O=3.

Deutsche Welle Relay Kazakhstan

Deutsche Welle Relay Kazakhstan is on 7430 Khz at 2255 Utc in Indonesian with SINPO 24433. Identification and address by woman. Close down is at 2300 Utc.

WWCR

WWCR is on 7465 Khz at 2250 Utc in English with SINPO 24433. Programme is an interview. Website of WWCR is availbale via http://www.wwcr.com/.

Galei Zahal

Galei Zahal is on 6973 Khz at 2240 Utc in Hebrew with SINPO 24433. Plays some local pop-songs and announcements. Galei Zahal is israels’s armed forces radio.

WBOH Newport

WBOH Newport is on 5920 Khz at 2240 Utc with SINPO 24433 in English. Some religious talk by man.

RHC Habana

RHC Habana is on 5965 Khz at 2230 Utc with SINPO 34433. Identification, interval signal and some reports. Language sounds like french but is no real french may be creole, schedule does not list this frequency at the time. Nice reception today on 49 metres. Dr Gene Scott is on 6090 Khz at 2220 Utc in English with SINPO 23433. Some bible reading by man about Romans. Transmitter site is on Anguilla.

Radio Republica (tent)

Tentative Radio Republica is on 6135 Khz at 2215 Utc in Spanish with SINPO 24433. Programme is news report by man. After that a report on Cuba. Quite good reception on 49 metres this evening, Asia was dominating the last time I listened to, now it is America.

Radiodiffusion Nationale Tchadienne

Tentative Radiodiffusion Nationale Tchadienne is on 6165 Khz at 2200 Utc in French with SINPO 32332. News are read out by man, NDjamena the capital city is sometimes mentioned.

RAE Buenos Aires

RAE Buenos Aires ist auf 15345 Khz um 2140 Utc mit SINPO 34433 in Deutsch zu hören. Gerade wird die DX-Sendung mit vielen Logmeldungen ausgestrahlt. Danach folgt Musik aus den Norden Argentiniens. Radio Nacional Bata is on 5005 Khz at 2135 Utc with SINPO 34433. Plays some nice african music, a real pleasure of listening. Quite good conditions on 60 metres band this evening.

CNR1 Beijing

CNR1 Beijing is on 4800 Khz at 2130 Utc with SINPO 23322 in Chinese. Some talk by man, very much fading.

FEBC Manila

FEBC Manila is on 9430 Khz at 1620 Utc in Chinese with SINPO 24333. Programme is talk by woman into religious song. Close down is at 1630 Utc.

RFI Paris via Relay South Africa

Radio France International is on 15160 Khz in English at 1605 Utc with SINPO 44433. Transmitter site is in South Africa and the transmission is beamed to Africa. Programme is news on african items. The website of RFI Paris can be reached via http://www.rfi.fr/.

Radio Taiwan International 20 Jahre Sondersendung

Das Sonderprogramm von Radio Taiwan International aus Anlaß des 20 jährigen Bestehens der deutschen Redaktion ist im web als mp3-Datei erhältlich: 20 Jahre RTI. Die Datei ist 44,5 MB groß.

Das deutsche Programm von WYFR Family Radio ist auf ungewöhnlicher Frequenz 7780 Khz um 0530 Utc zu hören. Der Empfang ist gut mit SINPO 34444. Gespielt wird leichte religiöse Musik, vorher Stationsansage. Es folgt Studien im Wort Gottes. Die Webseite der Station ist unter http://www.familyradio.com erreichbar.

China Radio International

Radio Bulgarien
