+ GBR Somercotes Derbyshire. 1320 kHz MW. Radio UK International is back on air using a 100-watt Radio Atlantis rig, when they are raided again after just one hour on air, and from a different site (a condemned house on Birchwood Lane). Staff escape through a bedroom window; the story makes the local press as the police try chasing them but lose them and also get the car number plate wrong. John Spendlove is to be fined £50 for both transmissions. This is the last broadcast to date of this station, which started broadcasts in 1968
